An Analysis of Philosophical Basis of Constructing Contemporary Western Democratic System

现代化的核心是体制的选择,但对于何为最优体制,学者们并没有达成共识,只有深入探究各种体制建构的哲学基础,从人性、理性、真理的相对性与绝对性、目标与手段、普遍性与特殊性等各个角度来全面比较各种体制,我们才能得出在没有最优选择的情况下,民主体制作为次优选择具有内在的合理性,值得所有后发国家借鉴。

The core of modernization is the choice of system. However, researchers have not reached an agreement as to what is the best system. Only by exploring the philosophical basis of constructing every type of system and comparing them in the perspectives of humanity, rationale and truth and tile relationships between relatiyity and absolutivity, means and end, and generatity and specificality can we reach the conclusion that democratic system as the second best choice possesses inherent rationale and can be adopted by all developing countries.
