摘要
针对图书馆自动化、信息化、数字化的新形势，论述了馆长管理有效性的五个特性：时代性、技术性、修养性、间接体现性和可学性，提出了一些提高馆长管理工作有效性的措施。
This article, in view of the automation,informationization and digitalization situation in library's work,expounds five aspects which influence the effectiveness of the library adiministrator'smanagement, It proposes that the library administrator must follow the tide of development, have agood command of new technologies,cultivate himself in every aspect, display enthusiasm for furtherlearning and strive to serve the ultimate goal. Besides,it puts forward some measures for bettering theadministrator's management of the library.
