The constitutionalism revolution in the early 20th century Iran was not only the political movement that exerted profound influences on Modern history of Iran,but also the historical climax of a nearly one-century-long ideological and cultural Enlightenment. The revolution originated from penetration of Western education,the early educational reform,literature reform,the rising of media and press,the spread of Western democratic and constitutionalism theories and other great changes in cultural ideological aspects. These changes in social thoughts produced far-reaching influences on Iran's modern history.
