On the Assessment and Construction of Colleges' Campus Culture

我国普通高校的校园文化正呈现为令人担忧的商业化、世俗化趋势。因此,评估高校校园文化的意义就不言而喻。因文化的整体性和动态性之故,校园文化的评估必须先在方法论上解决评估的标准或尺度这一难题。评估的定性标准为传统的大学精神,科学性评估的量化尺度则为"名人"、"名校";而科学合理的评估标准与尺度,实际就是校园文化建设的方向与标杆。

Colleges＇ campus culture is on a trend of becoming commercial and conventional in China,so it is understandable why it is necessary to have the assessment of it.As culture is a dynamic unity,the problem of its standard or criterion should be first solved theoretically.This article puts that the qualitative standard should be the traditional college spirit,the quantitative standard should be the reputation of the college and its schoolfellows,and proper assessing standard and criterion are factually the direction and model for its construction.
