The forecasting model of GM （1, 1） is one of the core contents of grey system theory. It is applied to the study of properties （including melting heat, electronegativity, the standard enthalpy, the standard free energy, the standard entropy and ionization energy） of alkaline-earth metal. The values of properties which are calculated according to the built model are in good agreement with the measured values of Properties.
