This paper introduces the gas-bearing properties, such as gas composition, elements content and gas content of the coal-bed gas in the Shenbei Coalfield within the prospecting depth,forecasts the gas content in the deep parts by direct and indirect methods,figures out that Guchengzi Coalfield and Xinchengzi Deep Predefined Area developed with better gas bearing conditions and Guchengzi Coalfield is the favorable first mining area in Shenbei.
