文化现代化:作为普世性的生活方式现代化——当下中国问题的文化进路论略

Cultural Modernization as a Universalized Life Style:a Cultural Solution of Current Social Problems in China

作为克服1978年前30年唯意志之社会结构的自然自发自律自治之社会有机体系统恢复工程的经济现代化,在高速行进了30年后,我国出现了经济成就巨大、社会和精神问题日益严峻的基本状况,文化现代化这另一自然自发自律自治的社会有机体系统恢复工程,有必要突出地摆上前台。基于对雷蒙德.威廉斯文化概念的引申和重新编码,笔者认为文化是符号文化(作为符号生产的文化)、价值文化(作为精神价值,精神理想的文化)、生活文化(作为生活方式的文化)的统一体。而作为自然自发自律自治的社会有机体系统恢复工程的文化现代化层面之一的普世性生活方式现代化:自由个体、公民社会与民族国家建构(在超越性民族国家框架中的自由个体与公民社会交互生成的生活文化系统建构),是解决当下中国问题的至关重要、甚至是当务之急的进路之一。

Economic development of our country in the last 30 years, remedies our voluntaristic social structure before 1978 at certain level. However, problems with respect to social spirit or social culture still remain, especially in contrast to the great achievement of our economic development. To prevent this situation from worsening, cultural modernization, which represents the spontaneous, self-discipline, and autonomous structure, is worth to be brought into agenda. Based on the derivation and amplification of culture definition from Raymond Williams, I believe that the culture is a combination of symbol culture, value culture and daily culture. I also believe that, as one of the important factor of culture modernization, the modernization of universalized life style is the most crucial way to solve the imminent social problems in our country.
