无线宽带通信正得到越来越广泛的应用。文中针对国际上主流的无线相容认证(W i-F i)和全球微波接入兼容(W iMAX)两种无线宽带通信接入技术的发展状况,从技术演进、商业应用与发展趋势、市场预测等几个方面,结合国际国内多家权威咨询机构的统计与预测数据进行综合分析并总结,以期印证无线宽带通信的广阔发展前景。

With the application of wireless broadband communication technology,this article discussed the development of wireless fidelity（Wi-Fi） and worldwide interoperability for microwave access（WiMAX）,which were the mainly broadband access technology in the world.We made integrative analyzation and summarization on the part of technological evolution,business application and development,market forecast etc.,based on the statistics of analysis data and forecasting data by the authority consultation organizaitons from the overseas and China.The results showed that wireless broadband communication would have a good prospect in the future.
