新中国学校美育地位的变迁经历了四个阶段:一、1949年至1977年,美育地位从有到无而逐步削弱;二、1978年至1992年,美育地位经历拨乱反正而逐步回归;三、1993年至1999年,美育被写进教育方针,地位得到确立;四、21世纪,美育地位进一步落实和巩固。
The changing status of Chinese school aesthetic education since 1949 has undergone four stages, The first stage is from 1949 to 1977 when the status of aesthetic education was practically weakened. The second is from 1978 to 1992 when the status resumed its normal function. The third is from 1993 to 1999 when aesthetic education was included in the national educational policy and its status was formally recognized. The fourth begins with the 21 ^st century in which the status of aesthetic education is being strengthened.
