摘要
本文试图把狄金森归入思想家的行列,探讨狄金森诗歌的哲学维度和思辨性。通过分析狄金森对基督教来世信念与启蒙主体性的双重反思和质疑,揭示其诗学思想与尼采的透视主义认识论的某种契合与分歧。本文力图阐明,在认识论问题上狄金森和尼采都是怀疑论者,但相似的怀疑主义倾向却表现出不同的发展方向:导致尼采虚无思想的怀疑论及不确定性,却成为狄金森崇高感的源泉。
This paper aims at reading philosophical dimensions out of Dickinson's poetry and approaching her poetics in comparison with Nietzsche's concept of perspectivism.By analyzing their challenges to both the Christian doctrine of eternity and the Enlightenment idea of subjectivity,the author of this paper attempts to illustrate that Dickinson and Nietzsche are both sceptical about the human potential of knowing the world as a unitary and coherent whole,both claiming the inaccessibility of the ultimate truth,but their scepticisms go in different directions: the epistemological indeterminacy resulting in Nietzschean nihilism functions as the cause for Dickinson's sense of the sublime.
