Data-driven Learning:A New Trend of College English Vocabulary Learning and Teaching

摘要 数据驱动学习开辟了大学英语词汇教学的新路径,是大学英语教学改革的新趋势。本文以大学英语词汇教学为例,探讨了数据驱动学习的理论依据、概念内涵及其检索工具和使用的软件。在此基础上,文章进一步研究了数据驱动词汇教学的课堂应用,旨在为基于语料库的数据驱动词汇教学提供建设性指导。 Data-driven Learning (DDL), a new trend of College English reform, opened a new path to College English vocabulary learning and teaching. This paper takes College English vocabulary learning and teaching as an example, discusses the theoretical basis of DDL, implication of the concept and some computer corpus retrieval system software tools. More specifically, classroom methodological issues are further discussed in order to give a constructive theoretical and practical suggestions to corpus-based DDL vocabulary learning and teaching.
