Environmental protection industry will play an important role in a new round of wave of Tianjin economic development. Therefore training talents of environmental protection has huge mar- ket demand. By taking the construction of the major of Environmental Monitoring and Treatment Tech- nology as the mainline, this paper expounds the effects of education reform in such aspects as the con- struction of environmental protection talents training mode with higher vocational educational character- istics, the establishment of curriculum system based on the systematization of work process, and the re- form on teaching mode for work-study combination. It also offers reference ideas for the construction of related majors.
