高职英语教学不仅是一种语言教学,更是一种文化教育。学生学习英语的最终目的在于能够运用英语与其他文化背景下人们进行无障碍的交流。在充分认识到实施跨文化教育的必要性后,该文依据教学实践,归纳出切实可行的提高学生跨文化交际能力的策略。

Vocational College English Teaching is never merely a kind of linguistic teaching, but more a cultural introduction and dissemination. The destination of English study is to make smooth communication with foreigners who are from a totally different cultural background and even shares differ- ent viewpoints through the second language, English. The author puts forward some practical and effi- cient strategies to improve students intercultural communication ability on the basis of a detailed analysis of the importance of implementing intercultural education in Vocational College English Teaching and teaching experience.
