Whether the development of technology,the progress of civilization, or the changes of times,the relationship that human rely on nature is a constant theme. As one of the coordinators between man and nature,landscape practitioners should realize that having a clear understanding of the relationship between human and nature is one of the most important tasks. The paper firstly analyses the relationship that human rely on nature in different development stages of human society,and then it elaborates the current relationship between human and nature which landscape practitioners should recognize in hopes of contributing to the development of landscape architecture.
