In order to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the thinking and behavior of Wang Guowei,this paper makes analyses in the education Wang Guowei received,his personal temperament,life experiences and the era situation of the Late Qing Dynasty.The causes of Wang Guowei＇s inclination of Conservatism could be seen clearly： the education he received,his learning areas and values are the direct causes,the sincere disposition is the underlying cause,the life experience is the indirect cause,and the era situation is the root cause.
