Value orientation of the CPC＇s policies on ethnic affairs reflects the combination of ＂right＂ and ＂interest＂ and the unification of ＂unity＂ and ＂progress＂,which specifically manifests in the following aspects： taking national interest as the basis and firmly defending the ethnic unity and the unification of the nation;taking ethnic right as the foundation and safeguarding each right of the minorities;taking ethnic development as the goal and promoting national common prosperity and development.
