Increased global awareness of the implications of mycotoxin on human and animal health has inspired research efforts towards the development of an effective, accurate and efficient myatoxin detection system designed to eliminate such pollutants from food export. Recent technological improvements in immunological detection within the agricultural and biological sciences had demonstrated the capacity to meet several detection requirements. This report would discuss the harmful impacts of myatoxin on human and animal wellbeing and the importance of research and development of detection techniques to avoid continued risk.
