Electrochemical methods for preparing multilayer coating were introduced.Principle,advantage,disadvantage and suitable application scope of single bath and dual bath methods for electrochemical preparation of multilayer coating were elucidated.Several electrochemical methods used by some researchers for preparing multilayer coating were briefly described.These may provide some new ideas for the preparation of multilayer coatings.Some multilayer characterization methods were introduced,and the future of electrochemical method in multilayer coating preparation was prospected as well.
