摘要
作为一种互连技术,InfiniBand技术具有高带宽、低延时等许多优势,被认为是消除当前I/O架构性能瓶颈的一种新途径。InfiniBand子网实现了数十个到数百个节点间的高速互连与数据传输。目前,InfiniBand技术已在高性能计算领域得到广泛应用,正逐渐成为高性能计算互连的首选协议。基板管理实现对InfiniBand交换机和接口适配器的硬件管理,是InfiniBand网络管理中的重要组成部分。高效的基板管理对提高InfiniBand网络的可用性具有重要意义。本文详细分析了基板管理在InfiniBand交换机中的实现模型,并描述了IBS216Q交换机中基板管理的实现方法。
As an interconnection technology, InfiniBand is considered as a new solution to eliminate the performance bottleneck of current I/O framework because it owns many advantages of high bandwidth, low delay, etc. InfiniBand subnet implements high speed interconnection and data transmission from tens of nodes to hundreds of nodes. Now, InfiniBand technology is widely used in high performance computing and becomes the first choice for the interconnection in high performance computing.. Baseboard management, an important component of network management, implements hardware management of InfiniBand switch and interface adapter. It's of significance for efficient baseboard management to improve the availability of InfiniBand network. This paper analyzes the model of baseboard management in InfiniBand switch and designs a realization method of baseboard management in IBS216Q switch.
