According to the literature, biological molecules, such as cytokines, extracellular matrix metalloproteinase and their metabolites and other biochemical parameters from the synovial fluid, blood and other body fluids play significant praetical rule in the early diagnosis of articular cartilage injury, these biochemical markers are also important in the evaluation of clinical efficaey and prognosis of acute cartilage injury .
