系统视角下的信息检索思考

Reflections on Information Retrieval (IR) from the System Perspective

信息检索自提出到现在,相关的理论不断丰富,发展空间不断增大,学科体系逐渐庞大。本文系统地阐述了信息检索的系列问题,包括信息检索的历史、相关的概念、信息检索的核心内容(包括信息检索模型、词权重算法、相似性算法及聚类算法)、信息检索途径与宏/微观信息的关系、基于语言学的信息检索、信息检索领域的研究前沿,以利于领域研究者更好地开展研究工作,促进信息检索的长足发展。

Information Retrieval has achieved great progress both on theories and its branches since its concept was firstly proposed.This paper elaborated issues in this field from the system perspective,including its history,concept,core areas such as IR models,term significance algorithms,similarity measures and clustering algorithms etc.,two paradigms of IR,information at both micro-level and macro-level,IR from linguistics perspective,and frontiers of IR research,so that the researchers could have better understanding of IR to work better and have more achievement.
