Practices and discussion on teaching of medical microbiology for foreign students

医学微生物学是医学专业留学生的一门重要基础课,其目的是使医学专业留学生掌握医学相关主要病原微生物基础知识以及基本实验操作技能与科学的研究方法,培养其独立思考、独立分析和解决问题的能力。从教材和教学内容选取、全英文多媒体教学、教学方法和教师准备与提高等方面,对留学生医学微生物学教学活动进行实践,探讨医学院校更好地开展留学生教育的方式和方法。

Medical microbiology is an important foundational course for foreign students majored in medical science. Foreign students need to master basic characters of main pathogenic microbiology,necessary experimental techniques,scientific research methods,and abilities of thinking,analyzing and solving clinical problems. The paper reports practices of teaching activities of medical microbiology and discussion of teaching methods for foreign student in choices of textbook and teaching contents,multimedia teaching in English, teaching methods,and teacher’s preparation and promotion.
