辛亥革命前的中国为两千多年的君主专制社会。辛亥革命是中国告别传统社会而走向现代社会的一种方式。在传统的君主专制社会中,中国盛行臣民型、地域型的政治文化,具体表现为"主权在君"、"人治"、"集权专制"等内容。辛亥革命则促使中国的政治文化发生了变迁,开始向参与型的政治文化转变,即"主权在民"、"法治"、"民主共和"等。辛亥革命促使了中国政治文化的变迁,但并没有完成中国政治文化的转型。

China is a monarchy society for two thousand years before the Revolution of 1911.The Revolution of 1911 is a way that China farewells the tradition society and moves the modern society.In the traditional absolute monarchy society,China is subject,region political culture,the concrete manifestation is ＂the sovereignty in Mr.＂,＂the rule by people＂,＂the centralization despotic＂ and so on.The 1911 Revolution transits Chinese politics culture to the participation political culture,namely＂sovereignty in people＂,＂government by law＂,＂democracy republican＂ and so on.The 1911 Revolution has urged the Chinese political culture vicissitude,but has not completed the Chinese political culture reforming.
