Intelligent identification card is a critical part in positioning staff in colliery well. An embedded intelligent identification card is designed based on ZigBee technology, which is low in power cost, strong in resisting disturbance and accurate in positioning. The general design, function of every module and the positioning algorithm are illustrated in detail.
