摘要
"性别话语"导致男性和女性在交际方式上存在差异,通过对英语课堂中男女教师课堂反馈方式的对比分析,发现性别差异同样会影响教学风格:女教师的课堂互动性和支持性较强,而男教师的课堂则具有更强的权威性,信息量更为密集。
The existence of "gender language" has led-to the conversational differences between males and females. In this paper, the author, through a comparative analysis between teachers' feedback in classrooms instructed by teachers of different genders, finds that gender also affects teaching styles: Classes instructed by the female teachers seem to be more interactive and supportive; while classes instructed by the male teachers seem to be more informative and authoritative. Though the present research is only based on the cases within a particular college, with the backup of findings on gender language and theories concerning classroom interaction, it can surely provide teachers with sources of reflection on the influence of their gender factors.
