Irony is an important rhetorical method and literary criticism,which includes verbal irony,situational irony,and structural irony etc.in different forms.Zhao Shu-li＇s fictions have the characteristics of irony not only on linguistic level,but also on the situational and structural levels,.The present paper mainly takes Zhao Shu-li＇s representative fictions as the example to analyze the art of irony in his fictions,thus to open another window of artistic charm into Zhao Shu-li＇s fictions.
