论湘西苗族民间传说的教育意蕴

Discussion on the Educational Meaning of the Miao Nationality's Folk Legends in the Western Hunan

湘西苗族民间传说是我国民俗文化的重要组成部分。湘西苗族民间传说主要有氏族祖先传说、地方风俗传说、节日传说和人物传说等。透过这些传说,我们可以看到湘西苗族民间传说背后多方面的教育意蕴:与自然和谐相处的"环境伦理"教育;尊老爱幼、勤劳勇敢、惩恶扬善的品德教育;满足人们心灵和精神需要的审美教育和生产劳动、民族历史的知识教育。

It is the very essential component of Chinese folk culture that the Miao nationality＇s folk legends have always been. From those western Hunan＇s folk legends--which mainly include the legends of the ancestor in clan society the stories of the local custom, and the tales about festivals and some famous people, we could learn a lesson that there are many-sided educational meanings hidden in them： the environmental ethics education to be harmonious with the nature; the moral education to respect the old and take care of the young; to be diligent and brave and to be a nice man; the aesthetic education to fully meet with the need of human beings＇ heart and soul; the intellectual education to teach humans the knowledge about productive work and national history.
