摘要
飞秒脉冲固体激光技术是90 年代以来发展起来的新的技术热点,运用所谓克尔透镜锁模原理以及色散补偿技术,人们可以轻易地从振荡器中获取小于10 飞秒的光脉冲。与此同时,掣波脉冲放大已经把脉冲的峰值功率提高到兆兆瓦水平。这些进步又推动了飞秒光脉冲的应用。本文简要地回顾了飞秒脉冲技术的发展过程和现状,以及某些应用。
Femtosecond solid state laser technology was rapidly developed only after the discovery of the Kerr lens mode locking and the chirp compensation technology.Nowadays,it is not difficult to obtain a sub 10 fs laser pulse directly from a laser oscillator.Meanwhile,the chirped pulse amplification technique has boosted the peak power of the pulse to the terawatt level.Those developments have opened more applications for femtosecond laser pulses.In this paper,we briefly review the advances of the femtosecond laser technology with some sample application.
