Consolidation of Foundation by Heavy Ramming Method for The Container Yard in Port of Beilun

宁波港北仑二期集装箱堆场软基处理工程将砂井预压方案改为强夯法加固方案获得成功。本文介绍了强夯试验、强夯施工,并与预压法效果进行对比,证明强夯法加固软土地基在一定条件下是一种投资省、进度快、施工简便的施工方法。

The original design proposal on the treatment of soft foundation for the container yard(second stage project) in Port of Beilun has been changed over from the use of preloading sand well method to the heavy ramming method. This paper makes description on the ramming tests and practical construction works, and then makes comparison between those two methods. The fact indicates that the later method is an effective construction method owing to its less investment, faster progress, and convenient construction.
