天津新港地区首次建重力式码头,没有预制、溜放大型沉箱的条件,只能因地制宜。文章论述了天津港东突堤南侧矿建码头在施工中的空箱预制、清淤的几种方案、基床的抛石、夯实、基床整平和安装空箱等。

In the construction of gravity quay at Xingang District, Tianjin, there were no favorable conditions for precasting the big-scale caissons so we must take measures to suit the local conditions. This paper makes description in detail on the fabrication schemes of caissons,in-situ cleanup of siltation,the rubble tipping and ramming, foundation leveling, and installation of caissons for the ore terminal at the south side of East Mole of Xingang,
