A Novel Double Z-Source Voltage Source Inverter Suitable to High-Power Application Scenarios

摘要 传统Z源电压源逆变器(Z-source voltage-type inverter,ZVSI)中,电容电压高于输入电压,逆变器开关管电流应力过大,升压能力受到了限制,为此提出了新型双Z源电压源逆变器(novel double Z-source voltage source inverter,NDZVSI)拓扑结构。分析了NDZVSI的各种工作状态,推导了各元件电压关系。NDZVSI中各功率开关管采用改进脉宽调制(improved pulse-width modulation,IPWM)方式进行调制,确定了逆变器功率开关管的电流应力。仿真及试验结果验证了NDZVSI拓扑的可行性,与传统ZVSI相比,NDZVSI能降低电容电压,减小逆变器开关管的电流应力,提高升压能力,适于大功率应用场合。 In traditional Z-source voltage-type inverter (ZVSI) the capacitor voltage is higher than input voltage, it makes the current stress too high, so the voltage boost ability is suppressed. For this reason the topological structure of a novel double Z-source voltage source inverter (DZVSI) is proposed. The working conditions of the novel DZVSI are analyzed and the relations among component voltages are derived. In novel DZVSI the power switches are modulated by improved pulse-width modulation (IPWM), and the current stresses of power switches in inverter are determined. Results of simulation and tests verify the feasibility of the proposed topological structure of the novel DZVSI. Comparing with traditional ZVSI, the novle DZVSI can reduce capacitor voltage and current stress of power swtiches in the inverter, and improve voltage boost ability, thus it is suitable to high-power application scenarios.
