Regulation of "Deadman" Rapids in Dadu River

本文就死人坝的整治,介绍了顺应多汉河道的水流特征,采用以堵坝保护河岸,用低坝控制和固定枯水河槽的整治方法,收到了良好的效果。

In accordance with the regulation of 'Deadman' rapids in Dadu River, this paper presents the regulation methods that accomodate the current characteristics of multiple channel stream, and the adoption of training walls for protecting a river bank, as well as the control and stabilization of a river channel at low water stage by utilizing low dams. All these methods have given favorable results to the regulation works.
