接入网中的SDH

SDH in Access Network

近年来,电信接入网得到了很大的发展,多种光传输体制已被应用在接入网中,特别是SDH以它的大容量、宽带宽和强大的网管能力越来越受到人们的青睐.然而,由于在接入网中应用SDH需要大量的先期投入,给电信运营者带来很大压力,因此目前接入网中还存在各种光传输体制共存的局面.但是如果采取一些简化措施,SDH的系统成本将大大降低,同时传输效率也会更高、更方便组网、更利于在接入网中推广应用.

In recent years, great progress has been made in the' last mile of telecom networks', i.e. the access network. Many optical transmission schemes have been applied in access networks, among which SDH is increasingly attracting people's attention with its large capacity, big bandwidth and powerful network management capabilities. However, network operators are facing the pressure of big investment when applying SDH in access networks. Some simplifying measures to SDH are proposed to decrease the system cost while increasing the transmission efficiency and the convenience of networking. Thus SDH will be more favorable to be used in access networks.
