Introduction to OSI Standard Computer Network

目前,国际上各种专用计算机网都在向OSI标准靠拢,我国尚处建网初期,开展OSI标准的研究尤为重要,本文仅就OSI标准网中关于分层结构的基本元素,七层的划分,数据单位,各层功能等基本概念作一简介。

ISO (International Standard Organization) standard on OSI(Opening System Interconnection) of computer network shows more and more advantages. At present, various kinds of special computer networks are being set according to the standard in other countries. In our country, we have just started to set up computer networks, so it is very important for us to discuss the standard. This paper deals with the following concepts in the standard: the foundamental elements of network structure, data unit, the division of seven layers and the functions of every layer.
