摘要
本文通过问卷对比调查,并用SPSS16:0对调查数据进行统计分析,对中波非英语专业大学生自主学习情况进行了比较研究,旨在探讨中波非英语专业大学生学习外语的自主性以及波兰大学生自主学习对我国外语教学的启示。调查结果表明:中国学生的自主学习意识与波兰学生的大致相同;但中国学生的自主学习能力比波兰学生差。通过比较研究,波兰高校许多做法以及学生学习外语的自主性对我国外语教学有颇多启迪。
This paper reports on a comparative study on the learner autonomy of Chinese and Polish non-English majors, by means of a questionnaire survey and the analysis of the data with SPSS16.0. The aim of the study is to investigate students' attitudes towards learner autonomy and their actual autonomous practices outside and inside class. This study leads to the following findings: both Chinese and Polish students take positive attitude towards autonomous learning, but Chinese students' autonomous learning ability is not as good as that of Polish students. Based on the findings of the study, the paper concludes with the pedagogical implications of the findings for the development of learner autonomy in China's ELT context.
