The paper presents a Concurrent Engineering- oriented and Distributed Product Design System-M ABC AD. MABCAD adopts the structure of Client/Server and supports multi - discipline product development team and concurrent design. By using ObjectARX, Visual C+ + and SQL Server DBMS, MABCAD based on the platform of AutoCAD realizes product design, producing BOM Automatically and management of information of product and so on. With the use of this system, the efficiency of design can rise dramatically and the development cycle of product can be shortened greatly.
