Causes of Tragic Awareness in Zhang Ailing and Duras' Works

张爱玲与杜拉斯是来自中法两个不同国度的女作家,她们虽然生活在不同的国度,但是个人生命体验及所处环境具有一些相似之处,因此,两人的创作便呈现出相似的悲剧意识。本文主要从个体生命体验和社会环境影响两个方面,探讨两位女作家悲剧意识产生的原因,得出作家的个人创作受到社会环境影响的结论。

ZHANG Ai -ling and Duras are two women writers from China and French, having been lived in different countries, they share the personal life experiences and social environment similar, as a result ,their works manifest a resemblance of tragedy. This article analyses, from two aspects of individual life experience and social environment, the origin of their sense of tragedy, and conclude that the personal creations of the writers are influenced by the social environment.
