特质推理是观察者从其他人的行为信息推论其人格特质,形成印象的过程,包括自发特质推理和有意图的特质推理。自发特质推理的研究主要借鉴了内隐记忆的研究方法,可分为语义启动和图片启动两大范型。在心理理论研究指导下的特质推理是一种有意图的特质推理,包括行为预测和心理预测两大范式。

Trait inference refers to the observer to deduce the other person＇s personality from his behaviors,and then form the im- pression,it contains spontaneous trait inferences and intentional trait reference. The research in spontaneous trait inferences is use the methods in implicit memory＇s study,we can classify the research into semantic priming and picture priming the two paradigms. Under Theory of mind study＇ s guide the trait inference is a kind of intentional trait reference,include behavior prediction and mental prediction.
