Organization Mode Choice in R&D:Empirical Study Based on Resource Based Theory and Transaction Cost Theory

摘要综合交易成本理论和资源基础理论的基本观点,利用78家高科技企业的问卷调查数据,分析了现代企业选择不同研发组织模式的根本动因。研究结果表明,研发资源缺乏是企业进行研发合作的主要动机,而交易成本理论则有利于进一步解释不同研发合作方式存在的原因。企业选择不同的研发组织模式,是权衡资源互补所带来的收益和机会主义所导致的交易成本的综合结果。 Integrating the transaction cost theory and resource based theory,this study examines the incentive of corporation choosing different organization mode in RD.With a simple of 78 RD organizations,I find absence of RD resource is the most important motivation for firms to cooperate with others,and the transaction cost can explain why firms can select different cooperation mode.In fact,the organization mode in RD is trade-off of profit ofresource complementary and the transaction cost.
