中小城镇交通信号存在问题及改善措施

Study on Present Traffic Signal Problems of Domestic Small and Medium Towns and its Improvement Methods

设置交通信号可以提高交叉口通行能力,改善交叉口运行状况。结合我国中小城镇的发展现状,针对其交通信号设施、管理等方面存在的主要问题,通过分析、运用交通控制与管理等方面的相关实践经验,提出我国中小城镇交通信号发展及改善措施,为该类城市交通规划、交通安全规划、交通管理等提供可靠理论依据。

Traffic signal setup can improve capacity and operation conditions of the intersection.Combining the present situations of domestic small and medium towns＇ development,the traffic signal development strategies and improvement measures,aiming at lots of existing problems on the traffic signal facilities,traffic management and other aspect,are proposed by applying relevant practical traffic control and management experience.Furthermore,the development strategies and improvement measures can provide a theoretical basis for urban transportation planning,transportation safety planning,traffic management and so on.
