摘要
比较教育是学科,还是领域?自1983年第4届比较教育年会公开提出这一问题之后,中国学者根据不同的判断标准给出了不同的答案。有赞同学科者,有认可领域者,有的则认为既是学科,又是领域。20多年过去了,这一问题仍悬而未决,但在专业名、著作名、专有名词等的中英文称谓方面,比较教育为"学"的倾向越来越明显。笔者认为,比较教育为"学"之路需要在继续保证外部制度性存在的前提下,加强内部逻辑性存在和对外功能性存在,才能取得成效。
Is comparative education a discipline, or a research field? Since the question was raised at the 4th annual convention of Chinese Comparative Education Society in 1983, different answers have been given with different criteria. Some hold the idea that it's a discipline, some stand for the point that it's a research field, and others think it can be either. Although the identity of CE is still hung in doubt till now ,the names of the specialty and research literatures have shown a clearer tendency to be a discipline. After a close review of the debate history, the author believes at the end that, in order to consolidate CE as a discipline,we must further strengthen its internal logic and external functions with the premise of institution.
