Preliminary Investigation of the Reason and Feature of the Yellow River Flood in Xuzhou Region,Shunzhi to Jiaqing Dynasties

清代顺治至嘉庆年间,徐州是黄河流经的重要地区,黄河的决口导致徐州水灾频繁发生。自然气候因素是导致黄河水灾发生的重要原因,但人为、社会因素也同样不容忽视。地理环境的特殊性致使徐州地区的黄河水灾呈现出季节性和区域性的特点,不同时期水灾次数的变化也反映出国家水利政策和社会环境对水灾次数及水灾防治的重要影响。

In the period of Shunzhi to Jiaqing dynasties（1644-1722）,Xuzhou was an important area where the Yellow River flew.The breach of that river caused the flood often to happen in Xuzhou area.Natural climate was the main factor for it,yet the man-made factor was also the reason that shouldn＇t be neglected.The special geographic condition caused the Yellow River flood to appear seasonal and regional features.The flood change times also reflected the important influence of the state water control policy and the social environment on the flood times and the prevention-cure means for the flood.
