摘要
以湖南第一师范学院两个本科班104名学生为对象,通过问卷调查与观察考试成绩的方法对非英语专业大学生英语学习动机类型、动机与学习成绩的相关性进行了研究分析。研究结果表明:内在动机与学习成绩呈正相关,其中兴趣动机、成就动机与成绩的关系尤为密切,兴趣动机可直接带动学习成绩的提高,成绩的提高又进而增强成就动机。
This article analyzes non-English major students' motivation in learning English and its interrelationship with school grades,based on the result of a questionaire from 104 students in Hunan First Normal University and their English scores in entrance examination.It is found that intrinsic motivation is positively correlated with learners' school grades.Interest motivation and achievement motivation are closely related with exam performance in particular.Interest motivation may help improve learners' school grades,which in turn enhance learners' achievement motivation.
