情感障碍与英语口语发展

Affective Barriers and Spoken English Learning

情感因素是影响我国英语学习者口语能力发展的一个关键但常被忽视的变量。学习中的消极情感因素如过度焦虑、信心不足、动机薄弱、个性差异、自尊受挫等构成的"情感障碍"对学习者口语发展有极大的制约作用。教师和学习者通过运用教学策略可削弱情感障碍,激发积极情感使口语教学取得最佳成效。

By analyzing the current problems with oral English teaching,the correlation between learner＇s affective variables and proficiency ratings in speaking is pointed out.Particularly,the impact of negative affective factors on oral performances,including over-anxiety,lack of motivation and self-confidence,personality variations,loss of self-esteem,are examined and interpreted.In addition,a set of strategies to help promote learners＇ positive affect are systematically presented from the perspectives of language teaching as the oral class guidelines.
