Environmental Protection Communication as a New Social Movement——A Viewpoint of Civil Society Theory

传统的环保传播研究大多基于新闻学或传播学的视角,将其理解为一种新闻生产或信息传播问题,这种研究视角带有很大的局限性。本研究以公民社会理论为基本的研究框架,考察了环保传播作为一种"新社会运动"的发展历程及其理论上的合理性。在此基础上,通过对当代中国一些环保传播案例的分析,揭示了环保传播对当代中国公民社会的建构意义。

Traditional research on environmental protection is made from the viewpoint of journalism or communication,which understands it as a kind of new-generating issue or information-transmitting issue and thus has its obvious limitations.This paper takes civil society theory as the basic research framework and investigates the developing history and theoretical rationality of environmental protection communication as a new social movement.On this basis,the paper reveals the significance of environmental protection communication to the construction of China＇s civil society through the deep analysis of some environmental protection cases that have occurred in contemporary China.
