Lu Xun and the Fountainhead of China's Cultural Criticism

如果我们按照西方文化研究的脉络梳理,中国的文化批评无疑盛行于20世纪90年代,但是,如果我们就中国文化的发展而言,鲁迅杂文具有鲜明的文化批评的特质,它不仅承传了中国忧患意识的文化情结,而且与20世纪世界性的文化变革相交接;尤其在鲁迅的早期杂文中,突显出对于文化史和思想史的反思与批判,自此奠定了鲁迅乃至整个20世纪中国批评史的基调。

If we follow the Western culture research＇s steps,China＇s cultural criticism is in vogue without doubt in the 1990s,but,if we review the Chinese culture history,Lu Xun＇s essays had the special characteristics of cultural criticism.It not only passed on the cultural complex of consciousness of anxiety and tragedy,but also connected with the 20th-century cultural transformation in the world.Especially in his early essays,reflection and repudiation on the traditional culture were emphasized.From then on,Lu Xun became the precursor of the history of Chinese cultural criticism.
