Objective To investigate how to implement the mergers and acquisitions strategy of the private pharmaceutical companies under the new situation.Methods From the content,type and motivation of mergers and acquisitions strategy implemented by private pharmaceutical companies,analyze the private pharmaceutical companies to choose how to deal with mergers and acquisitions strategy mode and after the merger issue.Results and Conclusion The private pharmaceutical companies can implement horizontal mergers to improve the competitiveness of enterprises and vertical mergers to reduce transaction costs and stabilize business environment,so that the companies can achieve rapid expansion through outside mergers.Mergers and acquisitions should also focus on strategic conformity,management conformity and cultural conformity between merger enterprises,in order to achieve better merger target.
