From SLA to SLD:A Dynamic Perspective

摘要 语言动态观在二语习得和二语发展之间架构了一座桥梁,使两者形成了一个连续体。其意义在于使语言成为一个过程,即从封闭到开放、从静态到动态、从规则到变化、从稳定到变异、从渐进到突现、从独立到关联、从线性到非线性的发展过程。正是在这一过程中,动态系统理论从个体的自组织性出发,通过认知与社会的内外作用,建构起了动态、发展的复杂适应性系统。 The dynamic perspective of language bridges second language acquisition and second language development, combining them into a continuum. Its significance lies in the fact that language becomes a process, that is to say, a developmental process from isolated to open, from static to dynamic, from normative to changing, from stable to variable, from gradual to emergent, from independent to interconnected, from linear to nonlinear, and so on. It is just in this process that the dynamic systems theory starts from self-organization, and, under internal and external impacts of cognition and society, constructs a dynamic and developmental complex adaptive system.
