摘要
在EFL阅读中图式干扰会造成理解困难或失败。本文基于对图式干扰相关实证研究的综述,通过对深圳大学英语专业二年级19名学生阅读测试结果的分析,主要从读者和文本两方面探讨产生图式干扰的原因。研究表明,读者过于依赖语言层面的解码、过于依赖图式会对理解产生负面干扰;文本的语境和文本透明度缺失都会对信息加工造成很大困难。最后本文从文本解码技能、跨文化意识、读者和阅读材料四个方面提出避免或减少图式干扰的建议。
In EFL reading schema interference may cause comprehension difficulties or even failure. Based on a review of relevant empirical studies on schematic interference and the analysis of a reading test of 19 English major sophomores at Shenzhen University, schema interference in reading is discussed in the present study mainly from the perspectives of the reader and of the text. It is shown that the reader' s over-reliance on language-level decoding and schemata can undermine comprehension: the lack of contextual information and linguistic transparency may also cause difficulties in processing. Some suggestions from the four aspects of text decoding skills, cross-cultural awareness, the reader and the reading materials are made on how to help learners avoid or minimize schema interference.
