傣族亲属词的概念结构

The Conceptual Structure of Kinship Words of Dai Nationality

运用自然分类法,考察了傣族亲属词的概念结构。结果表明,傣族亲属词的概念结构包含5个类别:(1)婚前核心家庭的成员;(2)婚后核心家庭的成员;(3)表亲与叔伯亲长辈及同辈;(4)孙辈及旁系或姻亲子侄;(5)同辈的姻亲兄弟姐妹。傣族亲属词的概念结构有两个维度:(1)婚前的亲属亲密程度;(2)婚后的亲属亲密程度。傣族亲属词的概念结构既与傣族亲属词的特性有关,也与傣族的婚姻家庭形态、生产和生活方式有关。

By using the method of natural classifying and multi-dimensional scale,the study probed into the conceptual structure of kinship words of Dai nationality.The subjects were 83 senior high school pupils.The results showed that there were 5 categories in the conceptual structure of kinship words of Daxi nationality:(1)the members of the family before one's marrige;(2)the members of the family after one's marrige;(3) the eldership and compeer members of cousinship;(4)the grandchildren and nephews of collateral branches and in-law;(5)the compeer brothers in-law and the compeer sisters in-law.There were two dimensions in the conceptual structure of kinship words of Dai nationality.One is the intimate level of the relatives before one's marrige,the other is the intimate level of the relatives after one's marrige.The conceptual structure of kinship words of Dai nationality was determined by the attributes of kinship words,and influenced by the marriage form,the fashions of production and life styles.
